By Michele Rau, FCCLA Advisor –

The Ripley-Union-Lewis- Huntington FCCLA A.N.G.E.L.S. Project (Assisting Needy Girls and Boys by Empowering Leadership Skills) provides toys, clothing and food boxes to 60 families and a total of 162 children in the RULH School District.
A special thanks goes to the employees of Union 175 at the Killen Stations Power Plant and to Linda Krischner for working with FCCLA to adopt around 116 of our Angels this year enabling us to take more children this holiday season on our list.
FCCLA would like to thank First State Bank, Merchants Bank, RULH FFA, and the RULH Staff for adopting Angels. A special thanks goes to RULH Middle School FCCLA and students for conducting a can food drive that allowed us to provided a food box for each family.
This project was truly an example of coming together in the season of giving.
