Motorists should expect traffic pattern changes on the William H. Harsha bridge project on Wednesday, July 8. Northbound traffic travelling toward Ohio will be shifted over to the normal northbound shoulder of the bridge. Southbound traffic travelling toward Kentucky will be shifted over to the normal northbound travel lane of the bridge. The temporary barrier wall will be shifted over for this traffic change.
Traffic should expect delays during the traffic switch on Wednesday, July 8th. Traffic should continue to slow down and travel through the work zone with caution.
The ongoing work on the bridge is being completed by Structural Technologies LLC under a $9,800,328.30 contract with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
