1998 RULH grad travels to Italy to coach team in Junior International Tournament

Coach Jason Thompson (pictured in the back row on the right) with his Step Higher Academy team that competed in the Junior International Tournament in the City of Lissone, March 25-April 2. The 19 and under team included players (in to particular order) Josh Marshall, Jabari Covington, Deshaun Jackson, CJ Collins, Demilian Walker, Brandon Glass, AJ McBride, Gavin Dalen, Jason Moore, Tyler McKinley, and assistant coach/manager Isaiah Revels.
Some say it’s just a game. But basketball is a game that can shape lives and take some people to places that, without basketball, they only dreamed of going. That has been the case for 1998 Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School graduate Jason Thompson.
