Mrs. Frankie Schumacher, 86, of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a LPN and was retired from the Denham Medical Clinic in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio, a founding member of the Ripley Life Squad, a member of multiple antique car clubs, a member of the Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary and a former member of the Ripley Women’s Club. Mrs. Schumacher was born August 11, 1936 in Germantown, Kentucky the daughter of the late Henry H. and Mary Elizabeth (Wright) Merrill. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bernard “Bernie” P. Schumacher; sister – Janet Merrill Willis and brother – Charles Merrill.
Mrs. Schumacher is survived by her daughter – Karen Klump (Mark) of Russellville, Ohio; her son – Tom Schumacher (Jeni) of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren – Morgan Schumacher of South Carolina, Nicole Schumacher of South Carolina, Heather Boldman of Russellville, Ohio and Adam Klump (Robin) of Loveland, Ohio; four great-grandchildren – Isaac Boldman, Ashleigh Boldman, Keiko Klump and Fiona Klump; one sister – Carolyn Eaton (Bob) of Williamsburg, Virginia; two brothers – Don Merrill (Donna Willett) of Cincinnati, Ohio and John Merrill of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Fr. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
