It was a glorious celebration of the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School 1958 graduating class met for an alumni dinner and fellowship, according to class member Judith Gray.
“Not only did we enjoy a great meal,” Gray said, “we had Dr. Ned Lodwick, president of the Brown County Historical Society was our guest speaker. He had recorded our history and memories of our school days, which included Ripley School, St. Michael School and Higginsport schools.
“Then on Sunday, May 30, our group of classmates met for lunch at Rockin Robins Soda Shop Restaurant on Front Street in Ripley. It was great listening to stories about our school years as well as what everyone has been doing.
“We decided that we would all meet again on Alumni Week celebration in two years in May 2020. We all had a wonderful time.”
