Lady Bronco Youth Basketball Camp a success

Outstanding campers take home awards –

This year’s Western Brown Lady Broncos Youth Girls Basketball Camp proved to be a great success with approximately 40 young ballers making their way to the WBHS Gymnasium to improve on their hoop skills. The camp, hosted by Western Brown varsity girls basketball coach Tim Chadwell and his crew of instructors, wrapped up on June 1.
Every camper received a certificate and T-shirt for their participation in the camp, and there were some outstanding campers to take home special awards.

This year’s Western Brown Youth Girls Basketball Camp held May 28-June 1 proved to be a great success with nearly 40 campers in attendance.

Camper of the Week awards were handed out to Jadelyn Jenike, Jayci Barnes, Natalie Collins, and Kyla Conley.
Receiving Rising Star awards were campers Cassidy Armstrong, Olivia Fischer, and Morgan Schlosser.
Lady Bronco awards were handed out to Sophie Herrmann, Mayci Murrell, Sophie Jamison, Izzy Conley, Christina Frye, Hallee Lang, Aubree Louderback, Zoey Spears, and Ceirra Boehmer.
Hot Shot Competition award winners were Mayci Murrell, Natalie Collins, and Olivia Fischer.
Free Throw Competition award winners were Mayci Murrell, Natalie Collins, and Olivia Fischer.
There were two groups for three-on-three team competition during this year’s camp.
One three-on-three champion team included campers Christina Frye, Kaitlyn Jones, and Lexi Wuebold.
The other three-on-three champion team included campers Kyla Conley, Aubrey Vance, and Natalie Collins.
“It was real exciting and I thought we had a great week,” Chadwell said to the campers on the final day of camp.
