The John P. Parker Summer History Camp will take place June 4, 5, 6, & 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Parker House, 300 N. Front Street in Ripley. Ohio.
The Parker History Camp, now in its 13th year is open to students who have completed the 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades. Each year the focus is different so students who have participated in previous years are welcome to attend again.
Students will learn about John Parker and other conductors on the Underground Railroad. The event will include crafts and other activities as students learn about life in the 1800’s.
Peggy Mills Warner will be the camp director.
