The Ripley village Council met in regular session on Tuesday, May 9, in the community building.
Scheduled guests included Missy McElroy with the Air Evac Lifeteam. McElroy asked council if it could cover half the cost for next year for Air Evac services for village residents. The Ripley Life Squad picks up the cost of the other half of the cost.
The plan, which cost a standard fee of $65 was shared by the squad and the village last year, which provides air care lifts anywhere in the village of Ripley or Mason County, Kentucky. Council tabled a decision on the contract until its scheduled May 23 meeting.
