Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently honored Gary Seesholtz, assistant administrator of the Ripley-based healthcare facility with a reception that included stories, speeches and even a few tears.
Seesholtz, whose parents were original board members and founders of OVM, retired at the end of February.
Twenty-five years ago, Seesholtz began his tenure at OVM. To recognize his service, he was given a gold watch, inscribed with the reminder to R-A-C-E: “Retire And Celebrate Evermore.”
“I’m looking forward to spending more time with the grandkids,” Seesholtz responded, when asked about his future plans. “The kids already have me scheduled on the second day of my retirement to do some babysitting and carpooling.”
OVM is an award-winning healthcare facility that offers an array of nursing, rehabilitation and therapeutic services, including Home Health, Assisted Living, and Aquatic Therapy.
