State Representative Doug Green (R-Mt. Orab) was sworn in on January 5th as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. This will be his third term. He represents the 66th Ohio House District, which includes all of Brown County, as well as southeastern Clermont County.
“As I am sworn in for another term, words cannot express the feeling of humility as I take the oath of office,” Green said. “I am truly humbled by the trust of the people of the 66th House District. Please continue to pray for my colleagues and I to seek the wisdom of God in the issues we face in this 132nd General Assembly of Ohio.”
Prior to serving in the House, Representative Green served as the Auditor of Brown County, where he has been an elected official for 28 years.  During your tenure in the legislature Green has served as Vice-Chair of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Finance Committee, Trans-portation Sub-Committee on Finance, Government Accountability and Over-sight Committee, Man-ufacturing and Workforce Development Committee, Correctional Institutions Inspection Committee and Tax Review Study Com-mittee and Health Care Efficiencies Study Com-mittee.
Representative Green received the 2016 Legislator of the Year from The Viet Nam Veterans of America, Buckeye Chapter and the Area Agency on Aging District 7 and 2013 ABATE Legislator of the Year and Ohio Farm Bureau’s “Friend of Agriculture”.
“I will continue to work hard to represent the conservative fiscal and moral interests of the citizens of the 66th House District providing a voice of reason with integrity and respect as we continue to move Ohio forward,” Green said.
