By Martha Jacob –A “Back To School/Open House” for Ripley Union Lewis Huntington Elementary School has been scheduled for Monday, Aug. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. according to Principal Eric Fiscus.
“This RULH Elementary event has been a great way to kickoff a new school year since 2000,” Fiscus said. “This event showcases community resources for “goods” or “services” oriented to students and families.
“If you are interested in having a table or donating to this event please contact the elementary school at (937) 392-1141.”
This Back To School/Open House is for the school district and will provide ample advertising opportunity and local media coverage at little or no cost.
“There is no charge for the table,” Fiscus said, “However, we ask that each table owner provide some type of school supply to the students when they visit your table. We hope to have table commitments arranged by August 8 so please feel free to call for more information.”
