Halloween stories under the stars

This Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m., the Ripley Library will be hosting “Halloween Stories Under the Stars,” for children. Library Director Alison Gibson will be reading a selection of children’s Halloween stories in front of the bleachers located in the John P. Parker House Park at 300 N. Front Street in Ripley.

This event is open to all ages, but the stories will be child-friendly. Friendly ghost luminaries will help you find your way to the bleachers. This is an outdoor event with seating on the bleachers. Dress for the weather and bring your lap blankets if the weather is chilly. Hot chocolate will be served.
