The annual Southern Ohio Agricultural and Community Development Foundation informational meeting to announce grant opportunities has been held.

Applications, including a business plan, for both ag development and the Young Farmer Program can be submitted between Aug. 1 – 31. Educational assistance applications are also available now at the local FSA office; these applications must be submitted by Aug. 31. Plan to attend and learn more about the strategic investments SOACDF is making in southern Ohio.

Grant opportunities will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, in the Adams County FSA Office Conference Room, in West Union; and from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 23, in the Brown County Extension Office in Georgetown.
