Ohio Valley Manor residents enjoyed visits from family and friends the week of March 11 through 18. Betty Mikles spent time with Debbie Ross, Lory Powers and Becky Williams. Virginia “Lee” Hunt was pleased to see Alberta Hunt and Kathleen Mack. Anna Roush’s visitors included Patty L. Smalley; Rhyann, Darrell Eugene and Russell Roush.
Pastor George Vance stopped in to see residents Charles Meadows, Mary Klump and Leroy Stout. Leroy was also visited by Calvin Bennett and Warren Bridges. Evelyn Baird’s daughters Jane Merrill and Linda Kratzer came to spend time with her; she also spent time with Lori Blackburn.
Jeanette Carrington reports that a group of seniors from the Manor went to Ponderosa Monday evening to have dinner. Everyone had a good time of fellowship. She was visited by Dawn Grippa, Marilyn Cluxton, James and Miley Carrington. Oscar Hoop spent time with Rich and Ruth Young, Valerie Lloyd, Mary and Norman Woods. Kathryn Tong was happy to see Frank Rowe, Judy Scott and Evelyn Johnson. June Paul; Joyce Rickey; Kathy Birchfield; Debbie Hines; Peggy Bohl; Stephanie Kilgore; Markie, Margie and Joe Vaughn all visited resident Myrtie Vaughn.
We are pleased to report that Erma Massey returned home last week. David Shively’s wife Ruth and Danny “Sam” Hillard visited this week. Jim and Joyce Naylor came to see resident Eula Naylor. Donald Penick was pleased to spend time with Ron Moffett, Carl and Barb Warf. Harriet Hosey enjoyed seeing her brother Dennie Keyes, his wife Marge, their grandson Ryan Keyes from Sardinia and Mt. Orab and Dawn Grippa. Bob Koewler’s company included Allene Tuel.
In addition to the residents listed above we also stopped in to visit Irma Purdy, Edith West, William Clinger, Thelma Himes, Roy Copple, Sylvia Brand, Lila Hardyman, Nancy Henderson, Bryan Patrick, Alice Nash, Virginia Penny, Mary Cooper, Judy Burson, Edward McCown, Virginia Riddell, Imelda Kimball, Leona Evans, Mona Wagner, Helen Kerr, June Walton, Margaret Fuhrman, Bessie Sidwell and Mary Edith Koewler.
