Ripley Council met in regular session on May 23, with Councilman Charles Poole absent from the meeting. Council met with Missy McElroy with Air Evac Lifeteam. Air Evac Lifeteam, through Air Med Care Network provides residents inside the Village of Ripley with transport services to the closest appropriate medical facility at a set cost of about $35 annually.
The cost for the village will be $3,045 for half the annual plan. Council agreed to renew the Municipal Flight Plan inside the corporation limits. The vote was unanimous. The Ripley Life Squad will pick up the other half of the cost.
