John Harold Young, II, age 47 of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, formerly of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Friday, April 07, 2017 at his mother’s home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was a software developer for Quest Diagnostics. John was born January 26, 1970 in Nelsonville, Ohio the son of the late John Harold Young, I and JoAnn (Whyte) Hildebrandt and husband Bill of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers – Harold Young and Charles Whyte and father-in-law – Joseph Klahs.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Young is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Emily Jo “Josie” (Klahs) Young, whom he married November 25, 1995; four children – Abigail, Emma, David and Jason Young all of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee; one brother – Jeff Young and wife Kerri of Hamersville, Ohio; two sisters – Julie Sininger and Jenae Kleemeyer both of Mt. Orab, Ohio; grandmothers – Esther Young and Lib Whyte both of Mt.Orab, Ohio; mother-in-law – Phyllis Klahs of Owensville, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
