An open invitation to a special reception is extended to everyone who would like to congratulate Brown County educator Becky Cropper for her recent induction into the 4H Hall of Fame during the March 11 Ohio Volunteer Confer-ence held in Columbus.
The reception is being held on Sunday, April 2 between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Brown County Educational Service Center in Georgetown.
Cropper served as 4H Educator for over 33 years and made significant impacts on the young people of Brown County. She has worked with all five school districts in the county promoting the 40 Developmental Assets, a program for adolescents ages 12 to 18.
“Please join us Sunday, April 2 to share stories and thank Mrs. Cropper for all she has done for this county throughout her career,” said Cropper’s friend Evelyn Yockey. “Anyone who would like a little more information can call the Brown County Educational Service Center at (937) 378-6118.”
