Robert G Miller

Robert G. Miller, age 85 of Carlisle, Kentucky formerly of Ripley, Ohio died Sunday, February 26, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a greens keeper for the Maysville Country Clun in Maysville, Kentucky, a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church and a United States Korean War Army veteran. Robert was born September 26, 1931 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Robert Roscoe and Mary (Morris) Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Evelyn Jean (Sparks) Miller, one sister – Myrtie Vaughn and three brothers – Richard, George and Dyke Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by four children – Sharon Miller Lowe and husband Glenn of Maysville, Ohio, Robert Paul Miller of Carlisle, Kentucky, Suzette Miller Hamm and husband Chester of Hiram, Georgia and Annette Miller Bruan and husband Roger of Hamersville, Ohio; six grandchildren – Randy and Joshua Bruan, Sarah, Trent and Trevor Lowe and Austin Miller; six great grandchildren; three sister – Leota Bauer of Ripley, Ohio, June Paul of Russellville, Ohio and Bonnie Miller of Ripley, Ohio and two brothers – Jerry and Ronnie Miller both of Ripley, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Dan Wylie will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pisgah Ridge Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio with military services by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post # 367 of Ripley, Ohio.
