Jeanne Grant paints from her Ripley studio, inspired by her garden and the Ohio River views. Grant’s work is regularly featured in local exhibitions.  In September of 2015, Jeanne was the featured artist at the Cox Building in Maysville, Kentucky. She holds a BA in Art Education from Purdue University.
In January of 2016, Jeanne started hosting a group of people who wanted to explore art.  They met weekly at the Ripley Library. This was not expected to last more than a month or two.  This group still meets weekly to share what they are working on and to continue to receive guidance and encouragement from Jeanne.
Because of the popularity of this group which meets during the day, an early evening class has been added.  The class will be held on Thursdays in February from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The class is limited to 10 people and there is a materials fee of $20.00 payable at the first class.  Everything you will need is included in this fee. The class is free.  You must sign up in advance for this class by calling (937) 392-4871 or stopping by the Ripley Library.
