The Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Brown County Farm Bureau are partnering for a “Create Your Own Rain Barrel” workshop.
 This workshop will take place June 30th at 5:30 p.m. at the Brown County Farm Bureau Office, 325 W State St., Georgetown, Ohio.
Staff will be on hand to assist you through the steps of turning a plastic barrel into a Rain Barrel.  Cost per rain barrel, which includes a “DIY Rain Barrel Diverter Parts Kit” is $10.  Rain Barrels can hold up to 55 gallons of rooftop runoff that can be used as a free source of water for gardens, lawns or flower beds.
